Allie is passionate about the role that sports play in society, and in the lives of young people. She grew up in Ventura, California, and has played soccer competitively for her entire life. She played on the women's club soccer team at UC Santa Barbara, where she helped the Gauchos to win 5-straight NIRSA club national championships. While in graduate school, she played on both the men's and women's teams at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Allie has a knack for languages, which led her to a career in translation and localization management. With over 10 years' experience helping companies build and maintain software for global customers, she knows the power of words. She's great at copywriting and copyediting, and her eye for design comes in handy when decorating a room as well as designing and formatting resumes. Allie genuinely loves helping people write personal statements and cover letters, ensuring they are submitting the best possible applications for college, grad school, or employment!
